Mitra SK’s (MSK) Indian operations started in 1938 and today we are present in all ports and inland mining centres for testing major minerals including coal, lignite, manganese ores, chrome ores, limestone, bauxite, copper ores, zinc and lead ores, rock phosphate, and iron ores. We also test value-added products such as metallurgical cokes, beneficiated ore concentrates, sinters, pellets, pig iron, hot briquetted Iron, sponge iron, ferroalloys, steel, metal alloys, granulated slag, fly ash, and cement. In the 21st Century, we have ventured beyond our traditional strength in commodities to include chemical and microbiological testing for food safety and environmental health.

LABORATORIES

Mitra SK’s laboratory infrastructure in India is led by the ISO/IEC 17025: 2017-accredited Central Laboratory located at Kolkata (Calcutta). Laboratories at Bhubaneswar and Barbil in Orissa, Gandhidham in Gujarat, Mumbai in Maharashtra, and another four labs are similarly accredited. All labs follow ISO 17025 and ISO 17020 Quality Management Systems. Eight of the laboratories are approved by the Export Inspection Council, Government of India.

The major testing facilities have modern equipment such as X-ray florescence spectrometers, atomic absorption spectrometers, inductively coupled plasma spectrometer, fourier transform infrared spectrometer, GC – MS, etc.

Mitra SK’s India operations are structured under two divisions with subordinate offices and laboratories at the ports, industrial centres, and mining hubs.

Mitra SK presently has representative offices in 2 locations to serve all major sea and river ports in China

Mitra SK began China operations in 1999 through the Tianjin representative office at Tangu. We presently have Representative Offices in 2 locations: Beijing and Tianjin. We work closely with China Customs Inspection Quarantine (CCIQ) and also have an AQSIQ license to operate as an independent assayer to serve all major sea and river ports in China.

The Mitra SK CNAS accredited Laboratory in TEDA (Tianjin) is a state-of-the-art facility with qualified chemists. It conducts reliable, accurate, and prompt analysis of Iron ore, chrome ore, coal, coke, ferro alloys, manganese ore, non-ferrous ores & metals, bauxite and fertilizers. Training and upgrading of skills are regularly undertaken by technical experts.

The port city of Hong Kong plays a significant role as an international trade centre. The Mitra SK’s office was set up in response to fulfil the demand of global trade. The office serves as a coordination hub for clients located worldwide.

Mitra SK’s first overseas operation began with its Japan office in 1966. Today Mitra SK nationwide network covers the inspection and testing requirements of customers from steel and non-ferrous metals industries.

Services in Indonesia include testing, inspection, and certification for coal, palm kernel, and other mineral commodities.

Operation in Indonesia started in 2005 as Mitra SK Ltd and subsequently registered as PT. Mitra SK Analisa Testama in 2009. Current services include testing, inspection, and certification for coal, palm kernel, and other mineral commodities. A dedicated team across Indonesia undertakes sampling, drafting, and consultation, as well as pre-shipment inspection and analysis, supervision, or witnessing of barge and mother vessel activity at anchorage. Submitted sample analysis and setting up of dedicated laboratories on a contract basis throughout Indonesia are among other services.

Presently, PT. Mitra SK Analisa Testama has an analysis laboratory in and Samarinda which is accredited Jakarta, both of which Are accredited by KAN for ISO 17025. Our Laboratory is equipped with the latest equipment/instruments and support by trained analysts to provide accurate results.

Mitra SK is registered and licensed to operate in Malaysia, using the technical and laboratory resources in neighbouring Indonesia.

Mitra SK is known for quality and quantity assaying company in ASEAN region, we serve for steel, power, metal smelting industries and for vegetable oil also. In terms of Inspection facilities of out bound and inbound cargoes like palm oil, iron ore, manganese ore, ferro alloys, and fertilizers at every port we are present to fulfil the industries requirements. MSK Malaysia team is equipped with all the necessary equipment for all sorts of analysis and measurement.

Laboratory facilities in Ho Chi Minh and services in ports and anchorages make MSK a significant player

Mitra S.K. Vietnam Company Limited was incorporated in 2017, mainly to serve the needs of the thermal power and steel industries. The laboratory at Ho Chi Minh City also tests other commodities such as manganese, limestone, clinker, iron ore, phosphoric acid, etc. Services are available at the ports of Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, PTSC Tan Hoa, Dung Quat, Dung Nai, Go Dau and other ports in south-central Vietnam as well as in north Vietnam, such as Ha Long, Cam Pha, and Go Da anchorages.

As in all countries serviced by Mitra SK, the team is equipped to undertake round-the-clock sampling and supervision during container and vessel loading of cargo. Our online vessel tracking, monitoring, and reporting system generates reports in real-time to ensure complete control.

Mitra SK’s laboratory and office in Mabela, Muscat mainly serve testing and certification of commodities in Salalah and Sohar Ports

Mitra SK’s Oman services mainly cover Salalah, Duqm Port and Sohar Ports, and are served by our laboratory and office in Mabela, Muscat. The operations started in 2008 in partnership with AlSadiq Technical & Trading Services, which has its registered office at Ruwi.

The Laboratory and its team of qualified chemists is a well-equipped facility for conducting reliable, accurate, and prompt analysis of iron ore, chrome ore, ferroalloys, manganese ore, limestone, gypsum, etc. Technicians are regularly trained by experts to stay updated on current tests, techniques, and equipment.

The Mitra SK Oman team carries out round-the-clock sampling and supervision during container and vessel loading of cargo as well as during sample collection and preparation. We also use our online vessel tracking, monitoring, and reporting system to generate reports in real-time.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Mitra Sk has an office and laboratory in the port city of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).

Mitra SK Inspection Gulf LLC (Mitra SK) has been active in the UAE from 2005 and was registered in the year of 2011. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the Company has a branch office and testing laboratory in the port city of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK). We are engaged in the testing and inspections of Limestone, Dolomite, Pyroxenite, Clinker, Gypsum, Gbf slag, Fertilizers, Coal, Coke etc. Our Operations cover Mina Saqr Port in Ras Al Khaimah, Hamriyah port Sharjah, Fujairah Port in Fujairah, Jabel -Ali port in Dubai, and Ruwais Port in Abu Dhabi.
