Baseline study in E I A process:

Baseline study in EIA process is conducted to establish a clear understanding of the existing environmental conditions in the project area and to identify the potential impacts of the proposed project.
The findings of the baseline studies are used to develop appropriate mitigation measures to avoid or minimize adverse effects on the environment and communities.
The measurement of environment parameters during a pre-project period for the purpose of determining the ranges of variation of the system and establishing reference points against which changes can be measured.
The purpose of monitoring isto compare pre and post project
conditions in the development site.

Mitra SK’s work:

It has laboratory accredited with ISO: 17025
It includes overall responsibility to appraise the environmental baseline data in front of funding agencies, World bank/IFC/JICA, statutory bodies and QCI-NABEI.
During the monitoring and analysis of the samples, engineers • accompany forthe monitoring work to carry out.
Baseline monitoring is done in terms of water, ambient air and noise levels and soil quality.
Mitra SK has also established MOU with NABEI accredited EIA companies for smooth execution of work.
