Mitra SK Australia was established in 2013 with a focus on Coal analysis and superintending services. An office was established to support the superintending services of bulk cargo of coal and iron ore which were being shipped to China and India.

In 2014, with the rapid expansion of the coal industry in Queensland, Mitra SK acquired a stake in Preplab Testing Services Pty Ltd. The acquisition brought Mitra SK 25 years of experience in the fields of bore core preparation and quality analysis, as well as coal preparation plant quality control and production quality monitoring.

Now renamed Mitra PTS Pty Ltd and a wholly owned subsidiary, the coal testing laboratory group.

Services:

Mitra PTS offers cargo superintending, witnessing and 3rd party analysis services for coal, coke, iron ore and other commodities throughout Australia.

We also have the experience and capability to set up and operate on-site laboratory services upon request. These services are currently available in Central Queensland and surrounding areas.

Laboratory:

The Mitra PTS laboratory group is NATA accredited for its coal laboratories. It operates facilities in Rockhampton (NATA Accreditation No 16994) and Gladstone (NATA Accreditation No 14525), with the capability of performing the following:
