The MSK Brazil Lab, near Itaguai port in the state of Rio de Janeiro, inaugurated on 22 March, 2013. The laboratory is having infrastructure for testing iron ore. Facilities installed are analysis by instrumental technique using XRF, trace elemental analysis by AAS and also wet chemical laboratory. During the inaugural ceremony other than participation from the mining industry in Brazil lots of congratulatory mails have been poured in from various section of the industry wishing all success for this endeavour of MSK in Brazil.
