Environmental Laboratory of JSW Steel Limited is a NABL accredited Laboratory located in JSW Steel Complex at Vijayanagar, Bellary, Karnataka. The activities of the Environmental laboratory include collection and analysis of Ambient Air samples (ambient & work zones), water (raw, surface, drinking & ground), wastewater (industrial & domestic) effluents, stack monitoring (process & de dusting), microbiological and soil samples. The analysis reports are to be entered online and the reports are periodically submitted to the Statutory authorities viz, CPCB, SPCB and for JSW’s internal usage also. MSK Hospet Branch took up the sole responsibility for smooth operations of this laboratory which also includes attending audit by NABL, KSPCB & CPCB periodically.
